Maxim studied physics at the State Technical University of St. Petersburg, where he also started his professional career in scientific research. He then switched to HR consulting and became a Partner of the very first recruitment business in the former Soviet Union.

As a next step he joined Korn/Ferry in Russia in 1995 and became their first Eastern European Vice President in 1998. Throughout his years with Korn/Ferry, Maxim received an intensive training in the company’s management assessment methodology.

In 2011 Maxim set up his own HR consultancy boutique Chuvaev Consulting, a cooperation-partner of jp from the beginning. Living in Austria since 2009, he joined the team of jorda & partners in August 2020.

Maxim has successfully completed numerous senior level searches for major multinationals and local clients in Russia, CIS, Eastern Europe and Middle East. Together with jp he completed a number of high-profile jorda Management Colloquium®-projects.

Having moved to Austria in 2009, Maxim is an avid sportsman and competed in numerous marathons and Ironman competitions over the years. He is father of five children
